GHC 9-1-1 Board of Managers Recognize
Dianna Porché

Dianna Porché of AT&T was recognized by the GHC 9-1-1 Staff and Board of Managers at its monthly Board meeting held on January 25, 2017. Ms. Porché is retiring on February 18, 2017. She began working in 9-1-1 industry in 1999 with other 9-1-1 entities across the state of Texas. In 2001, GHC 9-1-1 was added to her area. She became the primary contact on many 9-1-1 telco-related issues. She has worked very closely with GHC 9-1-1 on numerous projects over the years.

She was instrumental in working with GHC 9-1-1 on several large projects including: the move from 602 Sawyer to the current location, she coordinated all installs, moves and cuts for all of GHC PSAP's. She installed all labs and mobile command units for GHC 9-1-1 and assisted with all new or any changes to the ESNs and selective routing. In addition, she has played a big role in the NG project making sure new T1s and trunks were ordered and in place properly. Ms. Porche was the GHC 9-1-1 "go to person" for all new installs and the first to go to with any problems, because she knew how to get the issue resolved and the staff knew it was getting resolved thoroughly.

Chairman Russell Rau and Dianna Porché

She has been a true advocate for GHC 9-1-1, always working very carefully to get answers and solve problems. Ms. Porché may have a soft voice but when she is called upon she makes certain the concerns or projects are all handled very professionally and meticulously.

She will be missed by the GHC 9-1-1 staff that had the opportunity to work closely with her throughout the years. The staff at GHC 9-1-1 is grateful for her attention to detail and dedication to emergency communications. We wish her well with her retirement and future endeavors.
